Engaging in Access to Design

Brianna Blaser, DO-IT staff

High school and college students with disabilities interested in architecture, landscape, interior, and other design fields gathered this June for the AccessDesign workshop. Students spent one day at the ¯r¶¹ÔÚÏß and another at one of the leading architecture firms in Seattle. The event was a great opportunity for students to learn about design degrees; meet professionals in the field, including those with disabilities; interact with successful college and graduate students with disabilities; and participate in hands-on design activities.
